The Minority caucus in the House of Representatives has raised the alarm over the monstrous corruption and treasury looting going on in the APC led administration.
It also raised concerns over threats to the life of the Chairman Economic and Financial Crime Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa and urged him to expose those behind the threats.
The caucus in a statement in Abuja signed by the leader, Honourable Ndudi Elumelu, said that from revelation by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, a female minister under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is currently facing allegation of purchasing property valued $37.5 from a bank and depositing $20 Million cash.

The opposition party expressed unhappiness over the continuous pillaging of the treasury despite the ‘fight -against -corruption- mantra’ of the Buhari led administration.
“This revelation by the EFCC is another sad commentary on the monstrous corruption and treasury looting going on in the APC-led administration”, Elumelu said.
According to him, ‘’the Minority caucus is alarmed over the indictment of a female minister in the APC-led Federal Government for buying a $37.5 million worth property from a bank and deposited $20 million cash”.
The PDP, however, warned the APC administration not to cover up the alarm raised by the EFCC Boss that those currently under investigation by the antigraft commission were threatening his life.
The caucus said it is disturbed by the silence of the APC-led Federal Government to the worrisome development on the threats to Bawa’s life, which accordingly smacks of attempt to shield corrupt officials within its system.
‘Should any harm befall the EFCC Chairman, the APC led government should be held responsible’, the minority party also warned.
They, therefore, urged him not to be deterred by the threats but to remain focused as well as go ahead to disclose the identities of those behind the threats as well as that of the said minister for appropriate action.
