Public schools students in Osun state would revert to wearing the distinct uniforms of their schools starting from November 9, 2020.
This announcement by the Osun State government cancels that of Rauf Aregbesola, former governor of Osun state, who imposed a one uniform rule on the state during the 2013/2014 session. As such, students would no longer be made to wear one uniform but would be easily differentiated by the distinct uniforms of their schools when the new session starts November 9, 2020.
Mr Jamiu Olawumi, Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Education, also pointed out that school names would be gradually changed to their previous names.
