Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has ignored allegations by Nigerian socialite Sophia Egbueje that he reneged on his promises after having sex with her.
In a leaked voice note on micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter), Sophia detailed her romantic escapades with the Afrobeats star.
In the recording, Sophia is heard narrating to a friend how she got linked up with Burna Boy through Ama Reginald, an influencer and girlfriend of Burna’s PA, King Manny.
She initially hesitated to engage with Burna Boy, claiming she doesn’t usually associate with artists because they don’t give her what she wants. However, Ama Reginald convinced her to take Burna seriously, leading to them talking frequently.
Sophia alleged that Burna Boy made numerous promises, including buying her a Lamborghini. Eventually, they met in person, and she followed him home, where they became intimate.
However, after the encounter, Sophia claims Burna started playing games, ghosted her, and failed to fulfill any of his promises.
Checks on the singer’s social media accounts, however, showed that he has not reacted to the allegations by Sophia.
Meanwhile, notable Nigerians have reacted to the socialite’s claims.
