
There was pandemonium in the Mile 2 area of Lagos state on Tuesday as operatives of the Lagos Task Force allegedly killed a truck driver.
According to reports, the conflict began when the task force personnel attempted to enforce traffic regulations in the area.
The situation went out of control following altercations from both parties, which led to the death of one of the truck drivers.
Reacting to the death of their colleague, truck drivers in the state barricaded the road with burning tyres and a face-off with the taskforce personnel

Reacting to the news, the Lagos state police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin said, ” That claim can not be confirmed yet. Information is still sketchy.
However, I can confirm that police patrol teams have arrived at the scene, obstacles are being cleared, and a free flow of traffic picking up again.
