Sonia Ogiri unveils scars

Nigeria and US-based Nollywood actress and singer, Sonia Ogiri, put to her Instagram page to write about her scar and pains as she underwent surgery to cover it in the U.S.
She thanked her fans and loved ones for loving her, regardless of her past and present relationships.
”It all started in 2014. I lived with this total stranger called scar since 2014 and ever since then, I lost all confidence, even with the listings.
“I remember when I decided to settle in the USA. Looking for a job was traumatizing (be)cause I would relate every rejection to the scar on my face, lol.
“Close friends in the movie industry all knew when it happened. I totally lost it; at nights I would cry endlessly.
“How I tagged myself as ug*y cause is my face we are talking about. Days I would feel like ending it all, (be), I refused to accept my reality.
“I was never a makeup kind of person, but I had to start so I could cover up a little. I am surprised to see it now 🤣.
“I remember whenever my mom saw me, she would say, oh, Sonia! So, you now permanently have a new identity? A mark I never gave you from birth?
“I would control my tears and smile. She feels so unhappy for me.
“Just these visits to Nigeria; she said the same thing, and my response this time was Mummy, don’t worry, I will try and take it off, just to make her happy.
“Honestly, I know that’s not possible, but at least let me try one ☝🏿 more time, hence my first try was in Nigeria in 2014.
“I’m putting out my pain to help someone else. Some of us have a scar we are battling with; it could be anything, but trust me, you will overcome it.
“I have two weeks to see what my results will look like. So, wish me luck lol.”
I love my wife than my mother, says Actor Kola Ajeyemi
She added: “I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone that loves me, regardless of my past and present relationships. Families and friends.
“For some that always tell me, “I love your tribal mark, you hurt my feelings, but never took it to heart. I can’t wait to see my results guys ✌️”.
Late last year, Ogiri was in the news after she called out popular relationship blogger, Blessing Okoro, who berated Ada Emeh for lashing out at controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, for blaming the late Sylvester Oromoni of Dowen College for his death.
