Several persons are feared dead after unidentified gunmen invaded and attacked worshippers at St Francis Church in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

However, our correspondent visited the scene of the deadly attack and confirmed that the worshippers were shot dead by the gunmen.
An eyewitness stated that explosives were first used at the entrance of the church before the gunmen gained access and shot every person in sight.
