A former governorship candidate of Akwa-Ibom State, Ezekiel Nya-Etok, has described the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike as a good leader with capacity and pedigree needed for governance.
Nya-Etok said this during an interview with AIT, adding that Wike will make the President Bola Tinubu administration “smell like a rose.”
He said “No matter how much you hate Mr. Wike, he’s a man with a heart, he’s a driver, and he’s one of the people that will give this administration, you know, make them (this administration) smell like a rose.
“There’s so much about the attitude we have in this country, where we believe everything and don’t care about anything.

“We need these people who don’t care who you are, and Mr. Wike is one of them. I’ve not had the opportunity to work closely with him, but I’ve had the opportunity to see him, hear about him, and study him.
“I’ve also had the opportunity of being close enough to know the things he’s trying to do where the FCT is concerned, and if he goes on with it, it’ll be good.”
