The presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has reportedly picked former Borno Governor, Kassim Shettima as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
According to reports, Tinubu would unveil Shettima on Sunday, July 10, to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
There had been speculations that the APC presidential candidate would pick between Shettima or Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai as the vice presidential candidate.
The former governor currently represents Borno Central Senatorial District.
