The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has urged an angry user of the X platform to sheath his sword after the user described the agency as useless.
Adejobi, who spotted the comment, took his time to school the X user, Don Solonzo, stating that there are both good and bad policemen in Nigeria, as well as other part of the world.
The FPRO told the man that it was not proper to stereotype the whole police force because of the attitude of a few bad officers.

His statement read partly, “Teh Nigeria Police Force is not a useless organization. Narrow, you anger to those who do bad, to you, (provided you are clean too). We are noble, responsible, decent, and law-abiding individuals.
“Let’s focus on those who do badly, not the whole agency. It’s discouraging for people to condemn the whole institution as if every police officer is bad and useless. Being bad is a personal thing, not systemic. If everyone is alright, upright, and committed, the system will be ok.”
