Gunmen have beheaded the abducted Sole Administrator of the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, Chris Ohizu.
The ugly incident took place after the deceased family had paid N6m ramson to the abductors.
The council boss was kidnapped alongside two others on Friday last week after his home in the Imoko community in Arondizuogu area of the LGA was razed.
He was reportedly shot before he was whisked away by his abductors.

Reports said that the sole administrator was beheaded on Sunday.
Videos of his beheading surfaced online on Sunday evening.
The spokesperson for the Police in the state, Henry Okoye, when contacted said that the investigation was ongoing.
