The ongoing Peoples Democratic Party, PDP special convention will be a mere formality as virtually all the positions will be unopposed.
One of the contenders for the position for the national youth leader, Hon. Aminu Nagary has formally stepped down leaving the position unopposed.
Speaking with Thisnigeria at Eagles Square, venue of the convention, Hon. Aminu said what is paramount in any contest is the Peoples interest.
He said he decided to step down after much consultation with stakeholders and party leaders.

Hon. Aminu who said his biological father is in All Progressives Congress, APC, but he decided to pitch his tent with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP reasons that President Muhammadu Buhari has disappointed Nigerians with his style of governance.
“Politics is about knowing the worth of a citizen, civil servants, and a prisoner who is a captive under the government. In Nigeria, many have tried and many have failed. I have stepped down for the people that ate readily.”, he said.
