There was palpable tension in  the Ajowa community of Ondo state yesterday when a middle-aged man name (withheld )was picked as a suspect who killed Toyin Malla, a popular Ajowa-Abuja driver who was gunned down by bandits at Ago Jinadu between Akunu and Ajowa while coming from Abuja.

A credible source said the suspect has confessed for his roles in the crime.

The source further revealed that the suspect was a friend to late Toyin Malla both hails from Uro quarters of Ajowa Akoko.

There was a huge crowd from far and near who wanted to have a glimpse of the suspect.

The Divisional Police Officer, Okeagbe-Akoko,Paulinus Unnah led his men to pick the suspect for proper investigation and interrogation.

The Police Area Commander in Ikare Akoko,Muri Agboola confirmed the development.

The father of the slain driver, late malla wanted the corpse of his son to be released from a mortuary since he did not want his death to lead to anarchy and disorder in the ancient community.
