Joy Ayobami who has been in police custody since 22nd December 2021 over her involvement in a same-sex relationship has now been sentenced.
It was gathered that some neighbors had tipped off the police over the elicite affair.
Joy was arrested after she was allegedly caught with one of her sex partners named Aanu Folaremi. During the investigation, the suspect mentioned another sex partner named Temitope Owoeye.
Sources disclosed that the two have been in a same-sex relationship since their university days.

Joy has now been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment by a High Court in Otta Ogun state as the matter violated the Country’s law which banned homosexuality.
The police have launched a manhunt for the said sex partner, simply known as Temitope Owoeye, who is on the run and now a suspect in a same-sex relationship.
She has been declared wanted by the police.
