Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong, on Monday, approved the appointments of 14 special advisers.
A statement made available to newsmen in Jos and signed by Simon Macham his director of press and public affairs reads that in addition to earlier appointments of Special Advisers approved by Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, more appointments have been announced of other Special Advisers and other political appointees.
The statement reads that Hon. Diket Plang, Arch. Pam Dung Gyang, Justice Philomina Lot (Rtd), Chief Burki Gofwan, Barr. Jonathan Mawiyau, Mrs. Felicia Yakzum, Hon. Joe Bukar, Hon. Danladi Mann, Hon. Talatu Apini, Barr. Bashir Musa Sati, Barr. Kwamkur Samuel Vondip, Rev. Dr. David Laje, Hon. Sani Mudi, Maj. Gen. Paul Goar (Rtd) has been appointed Special advisers.
While Nde Ezekiel Gomos, Prof. Ochapa Onazi, Chief Michael Maqual, Maj. Gen. A.C. Agundu (Rtd) has been appointed as honorary Special Advisers.
The statement further reads that the Governor also approved the appointment of two Deputy Chiefs of Staff in the Governor’s Office, are Salihu Kwando – Deputy Chief of Staff (General Admin), Ibrahim Saleh Maitala – Deputy Chief of Staff (Political Affairs) .
Hope Uzodinma sacks special advisers, assistants
The Governor also approved the appointment of the Managing Director and Board of the Plateau Minerals Development Company Ltd. (PMDC). The new Managing Director Mr. Kwaplong Mathew Bialwan.
The statement further added that the Special Advisers will be sworn in on Wednesday, 17th November 2021 at the New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos.
