
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a one-day trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the just-concluded extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit.
Tinubu arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja’s presidential wing, around 8 pm yesterday.
The Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and security heads, among others, were on the ground to receive the President.
Others were Ministers, including Nyesom Wike (Federal Capital Territory) and Wale Edun (Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy).
Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was also present to receive him.
The summit, hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, focused on current issues in the Middle East.
During his attendance at the summit, Tinubu addressed the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict, highlighting Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution.
