Oarhe Dickson, a former House of Representatives aspirant in Edo State, has urged the state’s electorate to vote wisely in Saturday’s governorship election.

Such a move, he said, would bring a prosperous and robust democracy with numerous positive dividends.

Oarhe, who said this in a statement yesterday, also stressed the need for all political parties, candidates of the various parties, supporters, interest/pressure groups, and movements, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to follow the parts of justice, equity, transparency, fairness, truth by adhering to the rules of the game.

The statement was jointly issued on his behalf by the Director of Strategy, Dickson Oarhe Campaign Network (DO-CAN), Chief Gideon Oboye, and the interim coordinator, Publicity and New Media, Mr Chukwuma Kingsley.

Oarhe appealed to the people of Edo to come out to vote, adding that the election would be one big united family.

He said, “In light of this, we are appealing to Edolites to make the right decision now through their vote. Given the critical moment and the reality across the board, we need someone who will further attract investors.

“We need someone who can create wealth and further boost the state’s economy for the overall benefits and well-being of all Edolites,” Oarhe asserted.
