President of the 9th Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has perfected arrangements to distribute 9000 bags of grains to his constituents.
The move, according to a statement yesterday by Lawan’s media aide, Ezrel Tabiowo, was an intervention by the Senator representing Yobe North Senatorial District.
The immediate past president of the Senate is also expected to hand over the Federal Science and Technical College, Gashua, he facilitated to the Federal Government on Saturday.
Lawan said the gesture was meant to compliment the various efforts by both the Yobe State and the Federal Government, to ease the hardship currently being experienced by the people of his senatorial district as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy.
