Again NNPC Announces Increase of 155.17 Depot Pump Price

As expected by Nigerians earlier, on the possible Increase of petroleum pump price to N200 naira, The Petroleum Products Marketing Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, has again increased the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, to N155.17 per litre from N147.67 per litre.

This was disclosed in an internal memo with reference number PPMC/C/MK/003, dated November 11, 2020, and signed by Tijjani Ali, a director in the NNPC sales and retail department.

According to the memo, the new ex-depot price would take effect from Friday 19th November, 2020.

The ex-depot price is the price at which the product is sold by the PPMC to marketers at the depots, after which they can sell at preferred price to consumers.

As it stands the commercial pump price sale of N200 naira is imminent and may hit the public from next week.
