The Vice-Chancellor of McPherson University, Prof Francis Adegbaye Igbasan, has been recognised for his 33 years of active service to academia and honoured with an award by the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) in Ondo State.
The letter reads in part, “The Management has recognized your contribution to the development of the University since you assumed duty in 1991.” It further states that, “The University has decided to honour you with the Long Service Award for 2024.”
This year’s Excellence and Productivity Award will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Babatunde Afeni Adebayo Multipurpose Hall in FUTA. Distinguished personalities from within and outside the university will witness this honorary award.
The entire McPherson University Community congratulates our trailblazing and resourceful Vice Chancellor, Prof Francis Igbasan, on this feat. We are indeed proud of you, sir.”
