The second edition of ThisNigeria Gold Prize and Annual Lecture Awards has kicked off in grand style in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The event is being held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
Chairman of the occasion, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State, is represented by Gen. Adamu Jidda.

While waiting for the arrival of one of the awardees, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, all the FCT mandate secretaries; Head of Service, U.S Atang, Coordinator, STDD and other directors from the FCTA are present at the event.
Also seated are the speakers which include Prof. Mike Ozekhome, (SAN), Comrade Isa Aremu; CBN special investigator, Jim Obazee, and a host of others.
Scores of eminent dignitaries are also on seat as many more are still being expected.
