A Redeem Christian Church of God pastor, Emmanuel Orekoya, has been arraigned for allegedly raping and impregnating his 17-year-old daughter.
The accused appeared before the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on February 27, 2024, where he was charged with two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and sexual assault.
According to the victim, her father sexually assaulted her by inserting his fingers into her vagina and his penis into her mouth.
The suspect, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Justice Soladoye adjourned the case until April 17, 2024, to allow for the commencement of the trial.
