A former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, on Monday morning, accompanied a Lagos-based National Youth Service Corps member, Ushie Uguamaye, who criticised President Bola Tinubu’s government over economic hardship to the NYSC Local Government Inspector (LGI) office.
The corp member was summoned to the Eti-Osa 3 local government office by 10 am on Monday without fail after her video criticising the president went viral.
However, Sowore, on Monday posted a video of himself and rights lawyer, Festus Ogun, escorting the correr to the office.
In the video, Sowore was seen asking Uguamaye to lead them to the office of the LGI.
He captioned the video, “The journey with National Youth Service Corps youth Corper, Ushie Rita uguamaye, has commenced in Lagos. She is scheduled to appear before the LGI today and we will escort her to their offices. We are all en route with attorneys. Festus Ogun, Adeyinka Oyesomi, Ojienoh Justice.”
