The Nigerian Army has been accused of allegedly beating up youths of a community in Cross Rivers state for allegedly chasing out Fulani herdsmen.
A Twitter user, Max Ndifon made the allegation on Monday, October 4th.
According to Ndifon, the incident occurred on October 2nd, at Nde Community in the Ikom Local government area of the state.
He tweeted “My community was invaded by Herdsmen, the youths chased them away. On Saturday 2nd Oct. the army invaded my community and beat up our youths like common criminals.
“NDE Community in Ikom Local government area of Cross River State. Sad.”
