The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the death of  Ifeoluwa Bamidele, a lady who set her husband ablaze in the Obokun local government area of the state.

Recall that the Osun state police had announced a manhunt for Ifeoluwa who absconded the state to Ekiti,after she set her husband, Bolu Bamidele ablaze for welcoming a baby with another woman.

Confirming her demise, the Osun state police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola disclosed that the suspect committed suicide on Thursday.

Opalola said it took the intervention of a non governmental organization to get to the suspect, however before they got to Ifeoluwa, she had already taken a substance to end her life.

She said”It was when they picked her they saw she was behaving funny.

“They asked her what happened to her and she confessed that she had already taken a poisonous substance she left Ekiti.

“We rushed her to the hospital, they tried all they could so that she can vomit the substance.

“They later discovered that it had been a long time she took it and it had destroyed all her organs, that was how she died”.
