BREAKING: Hoodlums torch The Nation Newspapers

 

Some hoodlums this afternoon set the office of The Nation newspapers on Fatai Atere Way, Matori Industrial Estate, Lagos, on fire.

The hoodlums numbering six, came on three motor cycles. They were heavily armed with guns. As soon as they torched the building, they reportedly fled while their foot soldiers moved, vandalising cars and looting the premises.

However, a timely arrival of policemen saved the situation.

The newspaper house is believed to be owned by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Earlier today, Television Continental, TVC, also owned by the former governor of Lagos state was torched by hoodlums.
