Singer Seun Kuti has warned his fans not to involve him in the ongoing rift between Grammy-winning singer, Burna Boy and controversial rapper, Speed Darlington.
Kuti, during an Instagram live session, forbade anyone from involving in the beef between the entertainers.
He noted that receiving diamond jewelry from Burna Boy doesn’t make him his adviser.
He also noted that it was the rift between the duo that made the rapper popular.
“Don’t involve me in Burna Boy & Speed Darlington’s case; because I collected a diamond from him doesn’t mean I’m his close adviser. Diddy was even the one who made Speed Darlington popular.
“He reposted ‘Bangdadang’ which made the song popular. I have done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song,” he said.
Recall that Speed Darlington was arrested for suggesting that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with embattled American music executive Diddy in a bid to win a Grammy.
