Comrade Godwin Erhahon, Pioneer Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress and former Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State on Wednesday appealed to all patriotic individuals and corporate bodies, including the National Assembly, to broker reconciliation between the Federal Government and Twitter to end the current imbroglio.

Comrade Erhahon said he believed that we have passed the stage of probing the legality or otherwise of the Federal Government’s ban on Twitter in the country as such would only prolong the rift which is fast discrediting Nigeria in the global community.

All existing duly issued tinted permits remain valid, says IGP

“It is God’s will that wherever two are at war, as Nigeria and Twitter, unfortunately, are now, any godly third party should find peace between the warring parties.

” Legal or illegal as the decision of the Federal Government, which it took in a feat of anger might be, reconciliation is what is needed.

” Let us not massage the ego of any of the aggrieved parties.
Rather, let’s strive to put this rift behind us.”
