Netherlands coach Frank de Boer has left his future open after his side were eliminated from Euro 2020 following a surprise 2-0 defeat by the Czech Republic on Sunday.
“At the moment you are full of emotions,” de Boer said. “We all have a big hangover and we have to think about it together.”
The former defender was appointed national coach in September last year and signed a contract until after the 2022 World Cup.
The post had been vacant following Ronald Koeman’s move to FC Barcelona.

“At the end of the day, I am responsible,” de Boer admitted.
Netherlands fell apart after defender Matthijs de Ligt saw red in the 55th minute in the round of 16 match, with the two goals coming afterwards.
De Boer said in this case “the worst thing you can do against a team like this is to fall behind. Then they can just play the game exactly the way they want to.
“They were difficult opponents, but I thought that we were better until the red card. We dominated the game,” de Boer added
