This was announced by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) via its Twitter handle on Tuesday.
“Update: @NGSuperEagles forward,@alexiwobi has tested negative after further COVID-19 tests were conducted. #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong,” the tweet read.

The Everton forward had missed Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday against Benin after testing positive for COVID-19.
Super Eagles spokesman, Babafemi Raji also disclosed that Iwobi had left camp and will not be available for Nigeria’s final 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho.
