Give us credible information to tackle insecurity, Akeredolu urges residents

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has appealed to residents in the state to be free in giving out credible information that would assist law enforcement agents in the state in tackling the myriads of security issues.

This, he said, will improve the capacity building and the needed synergy in the security system in the State.

The Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa spoke on behalf of the governor at the 60th birthday of Arole Dennis Olaniyi Alonge-Niyi held at the Annunciation Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure.

The celebrant, Alonge is one of the commissioner at the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission.

The Deputy Governor restated the State’s commitment to providing security for the citizens of the srate by constitently investing and synergizing with all the Security Agencies in the State for optimum performance.
On the June 5 Owo attacks, Aiyedatiwa said, “as children of God, our prayers has been answered by God as the culprits of Owo attacks have been arrested” .

“And in view of security challenges we are facing, we should all be security conscious and see security as everybody’s business” .

“For now, the slogan is, if you see something, say something” , he appealed.
