Former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Thursday, canvassed fidelity to democratic practices and principles as imperatives to sustainable democracy.
The eminient Nigerians made the call at the ongoing “2023 Port Harcourt International Conference” holding at the Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Center in Port Harcourt.
Chief Obasanjo is the keynote speaker at the conference themed “Deepening Democratic Culture and Institutions for Sustanable Development and Security in Nigeria”.
Governor Wike had received Obasanjo and Fayemi at his country home in Rumuepirikom before the event.
