Chairman of Emuoha LGA in Rivers State, Chidi Lloyd has said that former Rivers Governor, Peter Odili’s loyalty to Governor Siminalayi Fubara may cease to exist after his tenure in office.
Lloyd said this in reaction to a declaration by Odili that Fubara is the political leader of Rivers State.
During an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On Podcast, Lloyd recalled a past statement by Odili where he said Wike’s performance as governor surpassed his (Odili) own performance as governor.
The Emuoha LGA chairman stated further that Odili made the statement several times on different occasions, adding that Odili’s loyalty to Fubara may cease to exist after the latter’s tenure as governor.

“Peter Odili said Wike’s performance as governor surpassed his own when Wike gave him a mansion which he built for him as what is today his private residence. So this has a lot to say about the personality of people.
“Today it is Governor Fubara, who knows what will happen when Governor Fubara leaves office? So these are the things we have to deal with as politicians in Rivers State”.
