Sadiya Umar-Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, has reiterated the Federal government’s commitment to pay outstanding stipends of N-Power beneficiaries who are exiting the program. These beneficiaries include Batch A and B beneficiaries.
Sadiya Farouq made it known yesterday that the Federal Government has approved the July 2020 payment and it has been forwarded to the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation for final checks and payments. However, the approval of July 2020 payment for Batch B N-Power beneficiaries has not been approved.
Nneka Anibeze, the special assistant to the Minister, identified that a few beneficiaries had issues with their accounts and may be disqualified from receiving payments.
