Lagos curfew relaxed, mov’t between 8 -6 daily

During a televised brief briefing at the Lagos House in Marina, the Lagos Stae Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has eased the curfew.
“We have decided that we are going to be easing the curfew from tomorrow (Saturday) morning, and what that easing means is that people will be allowed to go out from 8 am to 6 pm.
“For emphasis, from 8 am tomorrow morning, you will be allowed to go out, to go wherever you wish till 6 pm in the evening.”
He also warned against protests in the state saying “enough is enough.”
“We need to continue to talk to ourselves. Everywhere I went today, people say they want peace, we all want peace, we can not continue to lose our population and our monuments and infrastructure,” he added.
Also, he told people who are still using social media to instigate and incite citizens to desist.
The curfew had been imposed on the state on Tuesday in the wake of unrest when hoodlums had taken over the End SARS protest in a bid to stem the tide of extrajudicial killings and police brutality.
Recall that on Tuesday conditions had become more serious when videos were released showing soldiers firing at unarmed protesters at the Lekki Tollgate in the darkness.
