The founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua has been laid to rest.

The deceased philanthropist was buried on Friday, July 9th, 2021 after a three-hour burial service at the church premises in the Ikotun area of Lagos.

The service was attended by the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, Queen of Ile Ife, Olori Naomi Ogunwusi, publisher of Ovation Magazine, Bashorun Dele Momodu and many other dignitaries.

Speaking at the service, Akeredolu described TB Joshua as a special gift to humanity.

“We are proud to celebrate our dear son because he hailed from Ondo State. He was a gift to the world. Nigeria has lost a rare gem, a special breed. His passing is indeed a great loss, not only to the state but a loss to humanity. The last time people from different parts of the world came together like this was when Nelson Mandela died.

“He contributed greatly to uplifting the downtrodden. He was not born with a silver spoon but he was a special child who was born with special gifts. We all saw the wonders he performed, not only with the less privileged but those that are privileged. I am a living testimony to what TB Joshua was capable of,” Akeredolu said.

TB Joshua passed away on June 5th, 2021, a week before his 58th birthday.
