The youth wing of the Igbo apex Socio-Cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has vowed to ensure the protection, projection and promotion of the culture, values and development of the Igbo nation across the world.

National Secretary of the body, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu gave the assurance on Saturday in a statement made available to newsmen in Awka the Anambra state capital.

He assured the resolve of the apex Igbo youth body to providing adequate and healthy leadership for the Igbo youths globally.

Okpalaezeukwu urged the Igbo youths to consciously and actively participate in the various programs and activities of the organization to maximize impact and serve the purpose of its establishment.

He said,  “We commend the National Executive Committee of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, led by His Excellency, Amb. Prof. George Obiozor, President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide for the presentation of Certificate of Return (2021 to 2025) to the new leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing led by Engr. Damian Okafor- National Youth Leader, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.”

“We also joyously salute the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Sir. Willie Obiano and the Youth Friendly President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Anambra State Chapter, Prince Emeka Odegba, for their continuous fatherly and moral supports.

“In absolute solidarity to the positions of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, the National Secretary, we express the resolve of the apex Igbo Youth Body to providing adequate and healthy leadership for the Igbo Youths Worldwide, and her determination to protect, project and promote the culture, values and development of the Igbo Nation worldwide.

“Sequel to the above, we urge the Igbo Youths to consciously and actively participate in the various programs and activities of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo to maximize impact and serve the purpose. Together, Ala Igbo is safe and secure,” the body stated
