Minister, NNPC GMD Shun Budget Defence

The lawmakers sat for several hours .It was uncovered that the budget was to be done in closed doors without the media, apparently to shield the Minister and the NNPC GMD from answering  questions bothering on the arbitrary increase of fuel price by the Buhari’s administration without recourse to further impoverishing Nigerians

However, the meeting was eventually called off by the lead committee chairman, Hon. Musa Sarkin-Adda (APC, Sokoto), who while addressing his colleagues on the development, told them that the minister called that  he was summoned to the Villa by Mr. President.
