Nollywood actress, Shaffy Bello, has vowed to purchase and distribute 20 packs of Dele Farotimi’s book, “Nigeria and its criminal justice system”.
Bello was reacting to the arrest of the Human rights lawyer by men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Tuesday.
It was gathered that Farotimi’s arrest and detention is not unconnected to the content of the book.
In a post made on X on Wednesday, the veteran movie star condemned the activist’s arrest.
“Arresting a man over his piece of literary work tells me all I need to know about the type of crazies we have around us.
“Thank you so much, bcos now I’m going to buy that book. I’m buying 20pcs of it and giving it away. Leave a comment by saying ‘interested’ if you want a copy,” she wrote
