Ondo deputy Gov., others attend public hearing on crude oil explosions

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has led other stakeholders and agencies investigating public hearings on explosions of Crude oil at the Awoye Estuaries in Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State.

The public hearing was organized by the House of Representatives Committee on Host Communities, Petroleum Resources ( Upstream ) and ( Downstream ) held at Conference Room 028, National Assembly Complex, Abuja on Thursday.

There was fruitful discussions on the best possible ways to put an end to crude oil explosions which has been a plaque on the oil industry and the host communities in Ondo State.

Others in attendance at the well-attended hearing are, the Chairman, House Committee on Host Communities, Petroleum Resources ( Upstream ) and ( Downstream ), Rt Hon Dumnamene Robinson Dekor, and other members of the committee.

Accompanied the Deputy Governor to the hearing are, Ondo State Commissioner of Energy, Mines and Mineral Resources, Engr Rasaq Obe, Special Adviser on Environment, Hon Biyi Oseni, Special Adviser on Education, Dr (Mrs) Janet Ilawole and DG, Performance and Project Monitoring Implementation Unit ( PPIMU ), Engr Babajide Akeredolu, representative of host communities and other agencies.
