100 days in office: Rivers PDP congratulates Fubara

The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, congratulates His Excellency, Amaopusenibo, Siminalayi Fubara KSC, GSSRS, the executive Governor of Rivers State, as he blazes through the first 100 days of his administration.

 

A statement signed by Ambassador Desmond Akawor read “Rivers PDP, feels proud to have given its platform to a highly reputable technocrat and seasoned administrator, who fits in so well in the massive shoes vacated by his predecessor, His Excellency, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the immediate past Governor of Rivers State and currently the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 

Governor Fubara has started well in line with the consolidation and continuity agenda, by not only rounding up most of the projects initiated by his predecessor but has also initiating programmes that have a direct bearing on the people, including flagging off more signature projects like the 50.15km dual carriageway Port Harcourt Ring Road among others.

Upon being sworn into office as Governor, his first official visit, was to the State Secretariat, for an on-the-spot assessment of the state of the infrastructure as well as the promise to expedite the welfare of Civil servants in the State, school teachers have also experienced promotions and salary increments within this period.

 

Youths engaged in entrepreneurship are getting State-sponsored training and empowerment, palliative buses and other action plans to cushion the adverse effects of fuel subsidy removal have been provided amongst other numerous good governance.

 

Going by all these, we can categorically say that, His Excellency has started so well in his journey to keep Rivers State on the map of greatness, We pray for wisdom, strength, vision and God’s grace to carry on.
