Former presidential aide, Dr. Doyin Okupe has been feared dead.
The prominent Nigerian politician passed away at the age of 72.
It was gathered that Dr. Okupe died on Friday morning after battling a protracted illness suspected to be cancer.
According to sources close to the family, Okupe was critically ill in the weeks leading up to his demise. However, details around m his death remain unknown.
Okupe served as a senior adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan and later as the Director-General of Peter Obi’s 2023 Presidential Campaign.
