The newly deployed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago has tasked the staff of the Ministry to be up and doing in the discharge of their duties towards the realization of set goals.

Olowoshago called on the management and staff of the Ministry of Housing to rededicate themselves to duty and support the present administration to fully actualize the THEMES agenda of the Governor of the State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

The PS advised the management and staff to always remember the Ministry’s mission statement which is to ensure the provision of adequate and good quality housing in Lagos Mega City and Facilitate Easy Access of its citizens to home ownership.

The Permanent Secretary encouraged the staff to be ready to make sacrifices by putting in their best always in actualizing the ideas and innovation that he has in stock.

Olowoshago who reaffirmed his readiness to implement and drive initiatives that will promote the realisation of the Greater Lagos dream urged the staff to embrace the virtues of hard work, honesty, and selflessness among others in line with the present administration’s policy.
In her earlier remarks, the Coordinating Director of the Ministry of Housing, Mrs Deola Salako while welcoming the new Perm Sec noted that the Ministry is ready to give him the needed support for his tenure to be a massive success

Until his deployment, Mr. Olowoshago was the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Transportation. He graduated from Lagos State University where he obtained his Bachelors of Arts/Education Degree in English in 1993 and had his Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy in 1997 from the University of Lagos.
