2-year anniversary: Gov. AbdulRazaq delivers electoral promises

The Omu-Aran Development Association (ODA) has felicitated with Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara on the occasion of his second year anniversary.

The felicitation is contained in a statement on Thursday in Omu-Aran, the headquarters of Irepodun Local Government Area of the state, by the association’s Spokesman, Mr Olayinka Owolewa.

The ODA noted that the governor’s administration had delivered on most of its electoral promises and introduced a new brand of governance.

The statement said that the Governor’s giant strides in the areas of education, infrastructural development, roads, health and human capital development had set the state toward the path of economic growth and prosperity.”

The association posited that the Ilorin Visual Arts Centre, which was the first purpose-built contemporary film and art institute in West Africa, and the second Dolby Atmos Certified film production studio in the subregion, would propel the economy of Kwara.

“On behalf of Olomu of Omu-Aran, Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti, the Olomu-in-council, the ODA and the entire sons and daughters of Omu-Aran, we congratulate you on a successful two years in office.

“We pray God Almighty to give you good health to continue to drive our dear state to an enviable height.

“The ODA recognises your administration’s programmes/projects targeted at creating employment for our teeming youth,” the statement said.

It pledged the community’s support in helping to drive a prosperous Kwara.
