2020-2021 Season: Final matches of Northern conference A1

The 2020-2021 season’s final games in the Nigeria National League (NNL), Northern Conference,A1 has been scheduled to hold on the last day of July, Saturday (31),2021.
The four games to cap the regular season in the group will hold in four cities Jalingo, Jos, Zaria, and Gombe.
All matches are to be played at the same time of 3 PM.
In the final fixture:
Current group leaders El-Kanemi Warriors are on BYE.
The Maiduguri Warriors have hit 35 points with a plus 12 goals difference.
They stand qualified for Super 8, the outcome of the match their closest contenders Gombe United versus Rarara notwithstanding.
Gombe United have a chance to finish top of the group with any size of victory against Rarara
Only a draw will keep Gombe in the second spot.
Rarara may appear contended keeping their status in the NNL for next season with a win, draw, or loss.
The action spot is the Pantami Int’l stadium Gombe in the jewel of the savannah.
Mighty Jets of Jos, one of Nigeria’s oldest club sides are 5th on the log and will battle Abuja-based NAF Rockets, though safe a win will lift them to 4th place with 25 points.
NAF needs to make assurance double sure to keep their status and must avoid conceding too many goals,as they face Jets at the Township Stadium in Jos City.
NPFL: Day 14 matches this weekend
At the Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo, the government-owned FC Taraba will need a handsome win to stay in NNL as they confront anti- graft fighters EFCC.
FC Taraba is below the red line but a win will lift them above the murky waters.
Crimefighters(EFCC) will remain in the most important league no matter the result they will get in Taraba.
The Kalama stadium in Zaria, Kaduna is decisive for Oyah Sports Int’l , because a defeat by the military Green Berets will sink Oyah. Oyah has garnered only 19 points with a big minus 10 goals difference. A
Already Green Berets appear stuck in the relegation zone, they may be playing for pride against Oyah.
Sokoto United is in 3rd place and safe to continue with NNL next season even when they will not kick a ball in the final matches, because of the expulsion of Aklosendi Int’l football club of Lafia.
