2023: BBNaija’s Leo Dasilva knocked for supporting Tinubu

A Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star, Leo Dasilva has been called out for supporting the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

Dasilva had shared on Whatsapp, a flyer of an event organised in commemoration of the former Governor’s 70th birthday, where he is a panelist.

The flyer, which went viral, attracted knocks for the reality TV star who was very vocal during the 2020 #EndSARS protests.

An old tweet where Dasilva vowed to make the Lagos State Government pay for the Lekki Toll Gate massacre was subsequently dug up by Twitter users.

Reacting, A Twitter user, @LeMonsieurGrand tweeted: “With this LeoDasilva’s status screenshot, if true, it’s safe to say a lot the serpents of Hades walk amongst us, and a lot of us have sold themselves for not 30pcs but 15pcs of silver… Outdoing even Judas himself”

@Novieverest tweeted: “How it started, how it’s going. From #EndSARS and demanding for justice to organizing youth submit for Tinubu. Leo DaSilva well done bro. In 2024, people will say he was young and naive then.”

@prideofapeacock tweeted: “At 17 Leo Dasilva was able to establish something for himself in England. That was made possible because of the working system. Now Leo is a panelist for someone who is promising WAEC stipends as a yardstick to be voted for in this modern age.”

@isamubii tweeted: “The reason why “original” thought is important is that — you will most likely be consistent on a lot of issues. The people esp celebs that followed bandwagon views on Twitter may end up eating their words in this coming electioneering period. Leo Dasilva is a case in point.”
