
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and former governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, has said that all the South West Presidential aspirants and stakeholders of the party are united to produce the next president in 2023.
Akande said this at the end of the “APC presidential caucus meeting” of the South West, held at Lagos House, Marina on Friday.
He explained that the aspirants had a fruitful, mutual deliberation during the meeting.
“We are united and we will ensure that the next President will come from the South West,” he said.

In attendance were the National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Governor of Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun.
Others include: Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, Minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola, Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, former Governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo and Dr. Iyiola Omisore.
