The Vice Presidential Candidate Screening Committee will screen Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Thursday.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba made this known in a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday.
The screening exercise will hold at the National Working Committee (NWC) Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja at 10am.
“In pursuant to Part VI, Paragraph 14 of the the Electoral Guidelines of the Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the National Working Committee (NWC) approved the nomination of the following Party members to serve on the Vice Presidential Candidate Screening Committee for the screening/verifying of the nominated Vice Presidential Candidate of our Party for the 2023 general elections,” the statement read in part.

Members of the Committee are High Chief Tom Ikimi – Chairman; H.E. Capt. Idris I. Wada (rtd) – Member; Chief Osita Chidoka – Member; Rt. Hon. Binta Bello – Member; Chief Mrs. Alh. Mutiat Adedoja – Member
Others are Rt. Hon. Austin Opara – Member; Prof. Aisha Madawaki – Member; Mrs. Ayotunde George-Ologun – Member; Chief Mrs. Chidiebelu Mofus – Member; H.E. Fidelis Tapgun – Member; Dr. Akilu Indabawa- Secretary; Mr. Sunday Omobo – Administrative Secretary.
