
The Commissioner for Youth Development in Delta, Mr. Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, has called on youths leaders in the state to imbibe progressive principles toward accomplishing their goals.
Egwunyenga gave the advice on Tuesday while playing host to the Presidents of the Aniocha North Youth Community (ANCYP); the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Aniocha North Chapter, and some other youth groups in Asaba.
The commissioner urged them to shun myopic mindsets and anything that could make their followers to distrust them, advising them to always consider their set goals above personal gratifications.
He commended them for being proactive, well organized, and for making peace reign in their respective local government areas in the state.
The commissioner said he was committed to championing the voice of youths in the state.

Egwunyenga said that there was an urgent need to mobilize the youth to register in the ongoing INEC continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise.
He said that this would enable them to participate actively in the 2023 general elections in the country.
