As the Presidential candidate kick start his consultations in Kano, the ebullient National Women Leader, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Betta Edu and her Deputy have joined the Presidential candidate of the ruling party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice for consultations with kano women.
The Women have all in their resolves declared that they will support and ensure APC wins in all the elections stating that they believed in the presidential candidate and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima whom they have come to accept as role models for the liberation of Nigerian women.
She stated that the Presidential candidate has noted that he will appreciate women to crowned his visit to kano with a long-standing ovation, and cheers of happiness and lauded his support for women in politics.
Dr Betta in her usual smiles appeals to women to support the presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu noting that Asiwaju is the only candidate that will mainstream women into his cabinet with more than 35 % affirmative action and inclusion into policy-making and party politics.

According to her: ” He appointed the first female Head of service in Lagos, appointed the first Chief Judge in Lagos and employed over 60% of the workforce as women”.
Earlier, Asiwaju Tinubu in his speech said happiness will never depart from you women “I will make Nigerian women happy and remain loyal to you. You will never regret voting for me.
Continuing,, the Presidential candidate of the ruling party APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu noted that women do things conscientiously, always loyal with hard work and diligence assuring them that he will give them Women total support.
He stressed that when he sees women and their determination to vote for APC he believes that the party will win with a landslide victory adding that when he wins the 2023 general election, Nigerian women will be fully involved in governance.
