The Niger State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unanimously endorsed President Bola Tinubu as its sole presidential candidate in the 2027 election and adopted a sole gubernatorial candidate for the state.
The resolution was reached during an expanded caucus meeting held on August 1, in Minna, bringing together influential stakeholders from across the state.
The motion for the dual endorsement was moved by Senator Sani Musa (Niger East) and seconded by Hon. Saed Abdullahi (Bida/Katcha/Gbako Federal Constituency).
The proposal received overwhelming support as members responded with a thunderous chorus of “Yea,” affirming their unwavering commitment to party unity and strategic planning ahead of the polls.
In his remarks, Senator Sani Musa described the decision as a bold signal of solidarity and confidence in the party’s leadership both at the state and national levels.
“This decision sends a powerful message — the APC in Niger State stands rock-solid behind our leaders and our shared vision for progress,” Musa stated.
The caucus emphasized that its decision sets the tone for an early and well-coordinated campaign machinery, projecting a united front that it says will guarantee victory in 2027.
